Piwik Oops… there was a problem during the request

You want an annual overview in Piwik and know this Oops ... in Piwik and are bored of it? Here is a possible solution to the problem.
"Oops… there was a problem during the request. Maybe the server had a temporary issue, or maybe you requested a report with too much data. Please try again. If this error occurs repeatedly please contact your Piwik administrator for assistance."
The problem solution is described using a Uberspace account.

A possible solution to the problem is to increase the memory_limit and the mysql.connect_timeout setting in the php.ini.

In Uberspace, the global php.ini must be copied to the user's own directory. This php.ini replaces the global one completely. With its own php.ini, the global php.ini will no longer be valid.

Copy the global php.ini to your own directory with check if a php.ini is therein exist.
[user@server ~]$ test -f ~/etc/php.ini || cp -a /package/host/localhost/php-$PHPVERSION/lib/php.ini ~/etc/
Yet, you can edit your own php.ini.
home\user\etc\php.ini
Search the line with the memory_limit entry and change it.
memory_limit = 128M
memory_limit = 1024M
Search the line with the mysql.connect_timeout entry and change it.
mysql.connect_timeout = 60
mysql.connect_timeout = 300
On the next step, you must restart the PHP interpreter to activate the edits in the php.ini.
[user@server ~]$ killall php-cgi
The PHP interpreter will start at the next request.

Finish!
